Last May, Hawaii passed a bill banning sunscreens containing Oxybenzone and octinoxate, harmful ingredients shown to affect human hormones as well as damage coral reef development.

A study conducted by Haereticus Environmental Laboratory discovered that the chemicals caused bleaching, DNA change, and death in coral. The bill will go into effect January 1st, 2021.

Using safe sunscreen isn't just good for our skin. It's good for our world too.
